The 18th annual reunion has come and gone. It was held in
Lafayette, LA on September 21-23, 2000. Dinner was served in the
hospitality room consisting of locally prepared foods. On Friday, a full
day of sightseeing was enjoyed by all. Places visited showed the local
history and culture of the Acadiana people. A swamp tour was taken on the
Atchafalaya River Basin culminating with a banquet on Saturday evening at I
Monelli's Restaurant.
